As one of the bolder frames in our Active Series, the WX OMEGA will, with its lightweight and high-wrap frame that blocks out any peripheral light, make sure that your vision is clear, so that you can experience the world in all its glory. Additionally, the rubberized nose pads will ensure an optimal grip and comfort, so the sunglasses stay in place for all your outdoor exploits.
LENSES: CAPTIVATE™ Polarized Bronze Mirror
With these lenses, colors are evenly distributed based on wavelength strength for increased contrast and performance. Additionally, they reduce blue light (HEV) to allow more saturation of colors in red, yellow and green areas; they define and intensify yellow shades; and they reduce glare across reflective surfaces.

Meets or exceeds (U.S.) ANSI Z87.1 standard for protection and resistance of optics to high-velocity particulate impact.
EN.166 S
Product certified and tested in accordance with the European eye protection standard EN.166 (S) This standard defines the requirements for personal eye protection equipment. Class S mechanical strength means increased resistance to impact with a 22 g steel ball at 5.1 m/s.
HARD COATING
Hard outer coating protects against scratches and surface damage and extends the life of the lenses.
RX READY PRESCRIPTION READY
Select models of Wiley X frames allow you to fit an RX corrective insert with glasses prescribed by an ophthalmologist, so you can properly protect your eyes and enjoy any shooting and sporting activity.Wiley X with RX insert will provide a number of benefits:
- easy to fit and less expensive to purchase,
- a choice of 5 outer lenses with different colors, which allows for any lighting conditions,
- the possibility to use the glasses without an insert,
- are certified as safety glasses,
- inserts fit various models of glasses.
BALLISTIC
The product meets or exceeds (US) MIL-PRF-32432 Ballistic and MCEP (Military Combat Eye Protection) standards.
The frame and lenses must provide protection against a 3.8 mm diameter bullet fired at 700-720 km/h (goggles). Goggles to provide protection against a 5.56 mm diameter bullet fired at 594-612 km/h. Lenses and frames marked with the Ballistic standard provide the highest level of eye protection and are virtually indestructible.
