DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Ruger SR 9 & 40 Compact
The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction Rod is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol.
This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs) and controls the functionality of the gun. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame. Also a spring plug and 2 separate external springs are included with the system. The springs are different in length with the longest being heaviest when the slide is on the battery, so the user can fine-tune the weapon for his/hers personal standards.
The spring plug must always be installed when the DPM Recoil Rod and springs are used.
**As we lead the evolution of recoil reduction technology, products may change versions (new design with different springs, with or without plugs, washers, etc.) without any prior notice.**
